Hop Kettle	27 Commercial Rd, The Docks, Gloucester GL1 2ED (Food dock)	Beer	Website	Quality beers, all their own brand, about half of it rotates. Quite a lot of room upstairs, always seems to be empty so easy to get a seat. Food is a rotating guest kitchen downstairs so highly variable.

Mainly a delivery place but doesn't deliver to Brockworth/Glocuester. You can always get a seat the resturant is always empty.
Bao + Bbq	3 Regent St, Cheltenham GL50 1HE (near Old Courthouse)	Taiwanese + Texan fusion	Website	Order multiple small plates, clues in the name you get bao buns and pulled pork and the like. Could rack up a large bill if you eat more than average. Need to book has about four tables.

Indian Brasserie	146 Bath Rd, Cheltenham GL53 7NG (on Bath Road)	Curry	Website	More normal but still good curry on Bath Road. Might get away with not booking for smaller tables. Only serves small bottles of beer?
Curry Corner	133 Fairview Rd, Cheltenham GL52 2EX	Curry	Website	MEGA posh curry, it's won awards and featured on a Gordan Ramsey TV show (in a good way). No alcohol at all, not bring your own and they don't sell any.

Bristol

Some of the recommendations there have been added, especially if someone has actually been, and they've all been high quality but there's too many to add. There's coffee shops, resturants, and pubs towards the bottom of the document.

"The venue" that's referred to in the document was SPARKS Bristol, inbetween Cabot Circus and the centre, if that helps orient things.

Urban Tandoor	13 Small St, Bristol BS1 1DE (central, near the statue that was torn down)	Curry	Website	a.k.a. the mega-quick curry. They will probably get you seated and they will probably serve you pretty quick. Has been used to grab a quick meal and still get a train, or make a film festival screening.
Ramen Monster	Ramen Monster, 25 St Stephen's St, Bristol BS1 1JX (central but down a side street)	Japanese	Website	Authentic Japanese. Quite small and does fill up, but you can often get lucky if there's just a couple of you.

Really good rotating craft beer selection and nice chicken. Like everything on King Street it fills up (and because it's small!), but there is a deceptive amount of seating.

Likely emptier because it's in the middle of nowhere. They do take bookings unlike the pub which might fill it up on a given night. The beer is really good. Only open Thursday - Saturday.

Rotating craft beer selection that is very nice. King Street really fills up and it is very small, but you can sit outside on a nice day too.
